How cruel to use a sling-shot,
Against innocent workers protesting,
Peacefully to claim their wage, not a lot,
Only a slight rise for a suitable living.
Like in combat, these army-clad armed men,
All well-trained, attacked unarmed workers
And citizens who stage protests now and then,
Cruelly they waged wars against people,

គេប្រើពង្វក់ ឲ្យកោងកាច
មិនខ្លាចនរក លែងជឿបាប។
ទាហានជាតិគេ អប់រំខ្ពស់
មិនប្រើប្រឈ្លោះ ចាំបង្ក្រាប
រាស្ត្រឥតអាវុធ មិនសាងបាប
បាញ់មនុស្សដូចចាប កណ្ដាលថ្ងៃ។
ទាហានស្រុកគេ គេអប់រំ
យកជាតិជាធំ ពុំប្រល័យ
ចាំបាញ់បង្ក្រាប រាស្ត្រទាំងថ្ងៃ
ហើយខំក្រឡៃ ចោទរាស្ត្របះ។
