Heritage of the world left on earth there,

All types of peace from winning them are fakes.

Of all nonsense wars, who'll be the winners?
With mad imagination of masters?
The world can't be any one's possession.
But the Earth is the grave-world in common.

Why do war-mongers bathe the world in blood?
Or they want to turn all into blood flood?
Though an old Roman saying says we see:
"The evil in need wars sometimes can be."

Not through any wars, peace can be achieved.
That gained by wars can be only short-lived.
Just peaceful mind and true friendship, really.

United Nations Human Rights

“The situation in the occupied Gaza Strip is critical for the civilians living there and requires your urgent attention,” UN Human Rights Chief Navi Pillay said to the UN Human Rights Council special session on the Human Rights situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. “This is the third serious escalation of hostilities in my six years as High Commissioner. As we saw during the two previous crises in 2009 and 2012, it is innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip, including children, women, the elderly and persons with disabilities, who are suffering the most,” she added.

“All these dead and maimed civilians should weigh heavily on all our consciences. I know that they weigh heavily on mine. All our efforts to protect them have been abject failures. More powerful entities, such as the Security Council, and individual States with serious leverage over the parties to this dreadful and interminable conflict, must do far more than they have done so far to bring this conflict to an end once and for all,” Pillay concluded.

Till greed intervened, all had self-ruled well,

The Earth's got hotter out of the greed wars,

rbu TWO SCORE YEARS ERE, THEN AND NOW

Under rainstorms, Phnom Penh is bombarded,
Within an hour, the City's flooded,
Look! Everywhere we certainly see flood,
And the streets are covered with mud, and mud!

Squalls of rainstorms attack the Capital,
As if two score years ere, in mid-April,
The Rouge bombarded Phnom Penh with rockets,
Vvrrrooommm! Some had their eye-balls out of sockets.

Oh, what's the difference between then and now?
When rockets showered Phnom Penh, Who saw How,
Corpses were seen scattered here and there.
What horrible scenes to see, smell and bear!

When then there were corpses covered with blood,
Now 'tis seen streets are under floods with mud,
People were evictedd out of town then,
Peace does seem to prevail now and again.

A bit ere four, the dark skies beat retreat,
The thunders sound their missions are complete,
And what is left is people are busy,
Cleaning their city and make theirs tidy.

See me feeding my young,
My claw's used to serve it.
Like monkey-moms among,
World moms do "they think fit. 

Each has own skill to do,
Using hands, feet or beak,
To make their dreams come true,
Hope to gain what they seek.

Humans play feet for cash,
As in recent World Cup,
Animals for their bash (1),
Just to feed to live up.

Look, not my martial arts,
But actions from my heart,
Feeding my young surely,
All moms do "their duty."

rbu SHORT STORY: "RED 'BRELLA" រឿងខ្លី "ឆ័ត្រក្រហម"

Back home from the July 12, 2014 Nou Hach seminar, I decided to resume my 2006-plotted [short story] titled "Red 'Brella" and two new ones: "Neang Achchhara [a celestial dancer]" and "Fault Admitted [too late when no more time to correct]". The last one was first plotted and left aside as the first one in 2006. Both need some new feeds, esp the third is to be re-transfused with new modern energy-generating blood.

Below is the excerpt from my "Red 'Brella" started anew a couple of days ago. It's a type of modern-style story and concoction of prose and modern-writing poems.

“រៀនជាមួយគ្នាពីណាពីណី ...“ សំឡេងរសាត់បាត់ពាក្យចូលក្នុងអារម្មណ៍នៅសល់តែកន្ទុយ ធ្វើឲ្យមាណវីស្រស់ប្រិមប្រិយម្នាក់ស្ទាក់តាមមកទាន់ទល់នឹងទ្វារចិត្តនាយដែលបង្ហើបតិចៗ
នាំឲ្យនាងរឹតតែចង់ដឹង។ “ដំណើរជួនផ្លូវគ្នានាទីនេះ ... ” មាណពបានបន្ត។ ម្ដងនេះ នាងបាន លូកមាត់ស្កាត់សួរដេញ៖“ចា៎ ខ្ញុំដឹង! តើបងកំពុងគិតអីហ្នឹងស្លុងទៅណា?”។ កូនចិត្តមួយរបស់ នាយបានរីករាយនឹងឮពាក្យនាងហៅនាយថា"បង"។ ដូចចិត្តកំលោះគ្រប់គ្នាជាទូទៅនៅពេល លួចស្រឡាញ់នារីណាម្នាក់ហើយក៏រំពឹងចាំតែឮពាក្យនេះនោះ អារម្មណ៍នាយបានប្រៀបប្រ
ដូចខ្លួននឹងជ័យលាភីទើបបានដណ្ដើមឈ្នះយកបានរង្វាន់ពានជីវិតដ៏មានតម្លៃអស្ចារ្យ។

ព្រះអាទិត្យហៀបអស្ដង្គតបន្ទាបកាយក្នុងផ្ទៃមេឃខាងលិច នាចុងសាយណ្ហសម័យ ជះរស្មី កាត់ចន្លោះផ្ទាំងពពកខ្មៅប្រឹងប្រជែងនឹងពន្លឺចង្កៀងដងគោមទើបបើកប្រដេញគ្នា បានជះសាច មកលើវង់ភ័ក្ត្រអ្នកទាំងពីរឃើញដូចតារាទាំងគូកំពុងរះទន្ទឹមគ្នាលើវេហាស៍សួគ៌។

មាណពបានបង្វែរបន្លប់លាក់អារម្មណ៍លួចអរតែឯងអម្បាញ់មិញនេះ ងាកមើលខាងឆ្វេងដៃ ឃើញមនុស្សចម្រុះជាតិសាសន៍មកផ្ដុំកុំគ្នាឮនិយាយអំពី“ការអានកំណាព្យ ”នៅផ្ទះកាហ្វេចា
វ៉ា។ នាយបានស្រដី៖

“គិតឧបមាថា មានការថ្លែងអានកំណាព្យសាធារណៈ ដូចជានៅទីនេះ ... ” សម្ដីនាយត្រូវនាង
កាត់ភ្ជាប់ “នៅសួនសាធារណៈ នាមុខប្រាសាទអនុស្សារណ៍សម្ដេចតា នៅចុងសប្ដាហ៍ ល្ងាច
ថ្ងៃសៅរ៍ អាទិត្យ ពិតជា...”(គ្រានោះមេឃស្រទុំកាន់តែងងឹតរឹតតែដាបខ្លាំង។ ចរន្តខ្យល់ត្រជាក់
បានបក់រសាត់កាត់ស្លឹករុក្ខជាតិឮរ៉ាវៗនិងបំប៉ើងអាវសំពត់អ្នកដំណើរ។ នាងបានប្រញាប់ទាញ
ឆ័ត្រ មកលាតបាំងគ្រាប់ភ្លៀងដែលចាប់ផ្ដើមសាចដំបូង។ សំឡេងនាងឮប្រណាំងនឹងតំណក់ គ្រាប់ភ្លៀងធ្លាក់ទង្គិចនឹងឆ័ត្រប៉ាប់ៗទឹបៗប៉ាប់)“ ហើយទៅអានកំណាព្យនៅឯណា? កណ្ដាល
វាល នៅឯណា?”។

“នៅក្នុងកែវភ្នែកទាំងគូថ្លៃ (នាយបានថ្លែងជាវោហារកាព្យឆ្លើយ ដោយក្រសែភ្នែកសម្លឹងមើល
កែវភ្នែកទាំងគូរបស់នាង ដែលចាំងរង្សីព្រិចៗ ដូចគ្រាប់ពេជ្រផ្កាយព្រះសុក្រភ្លោះរះភ្លឺក្នុងលម្ហ
មេឃ) ផ្លេកដូចចរណៃ ពេជ្រចាំងថ្លា
សមនឹងសម្រស់ កែវជីវា    គន់មើលលោកា ទុក្ខក្នុងចិត្ត។

រមួលឈឺចាប់ ប្រាប់ពុំបាន    រងាទាំងប្រាណ ទុក្ខរួមរឹត
មើលមេឃបាត់ច័ន្ទ្រ ខ្មៅងងឹត    ស្រោចជិតបាំងបាត់ សម្រស់ស្រី។

ភ្លៀងធ្លាក់ជោកជាំ ជន់លិចផ្លូវ    ម៉ូតូឡានត្រូវ ហែលដូចត្រី
កណ្ដាលភ្នំពេញ ក្រុងធ្លាប់ល្បី    ប្រែមុខមាត់ថ្មី លិចក្រោមទឹក”។

Perching atop a rock smiling, at seashore,
Raising a hand to say bye to sky and more,

Guess, who can? Everyone could share their own care.

In white pants and black blouse, she seems to shout,
Boasting her graceful shape and smiling out.
