The Temple of Angkor Wat, the popular appellation for the originally appellative Nokor Wat, is in Cambodia, a country dubbed by CNN as the Kingdom of Wonders. The temple is one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the world. The other six are The Pyramid in Egypt, The Light-House in Alexandria (Egypt), The Temple of Diana in Greece, The Hanging Garden of Semiramis in Babylon, The Colossal Statue of Rhodes, and The Mausoleum in Greece, according to a classical French-language encyclopedia.
