បាតុភូតអស្ចារ្យ គ្មានទេលើលោក
មាននៅកម្ពុជា ទេសចរគ្រប់គ្នា
ចាំជាសាក្សី។
តើអ្វីទៅន៎ បង្កើតសូរខ្ទ័រ
សូមរកសក្ខី អ្នកប្រាជ្ញសូរសាស្ត្រ
រកពុំឃើញអ្វី បានត្រឹមមមៃ
ស្រាវជ្រាវបន្ត។
នេះហើយតឹកតាង ជាទីសំអាង
ស្ថាបត្យករ ខ្មែរបានបង្កើត
ល្បីល្បាញខ្ចាយខ្ចរ ជញ្ជាំងប្រាង្គថ្ម
ឲ្យខ្ទ័រគក់ទ្រូង។
ជញ្ជាំងថ្មសោះ ហេតុអ្វីពេលគោះ
ទ្រូងឮទូងៗ នរណាក៏ឆ្ងល់
មិនយល់គក់ទ្រូង គក់ឮមូងៗ
គក់តាមគ្នាទៅ៕
When beating your breast, it echoes,
Resonant sounds then heard, more,
As everyone wonders what follows.
Why do we just do beating on our breast,
Within stone walls of breast-beating hall,
Clear resonance is then heard to the best,
A cause of curiosity, a wonder as we call.
This is one reason why Angkor is a wonder,
Besides the lofty stone blocks of the temple.
All of it with each ornately carved sculpture,
Depicting a celestial monument to resemble.
